Vizup Commerce Privacy Policy

Vizup Commerce •
#privacy#policy

Effective date: October 25, 2026

Vizup Commerce operates vizupcommerce.com, publishes public tools and resources, and provides Shopify-related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website and related public services, why we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you.

This notice is written for the Vizup Commerce website and public tools. If you install or use a Vizup service inside a Shopify store, the merchant who installed the service may control store and customer data processed for that service. Shopify’s own Privacy Policy and any separate Vizup agreement or data-processing terms may also apply. We do not use this page to replace a merchant’s customer privacy notice or a negotiated data-processing agreement.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

We may receive information you choose to provide when you:

This may include your name, email address, company or store name, Shopify store URL, and the contents of your message. Please do not send passwords, access tokens, payment-card numbers, or other sensitive information by email or through a public form.

Information collected through the website

Depending on the page and features you use, we may receive limited technical and usage information such as:

Some public tools store drafts, preferences, saved items, or other working data in your browser’s local storage. That information remains in your browser unless you choose to export, submit, or otherwise send it. Clearing site data in your browser can remove locally stored tool data.

Shopify and service data

When you connect to a Vizup service through Shopify, the information available to us depends on the service, the Shopify permissions granted, and the merchant’s configuration. We do not describe a fixed list of API scopes here because scopes and product behavior can change. The relevant installation screen, service documentation, agreement, or merchant privacy notice should identify the current data access for that service.

2. Cookies, analytics, and chat

We use necessary browser storage and similar technologies to deliver pages and remember feature state. Some pages also load third-party services:

The older version of this page contained analytics statements that are not part of the current implementation. Third-party services may set their own cookies or process information under their own policies. You can restrict cookies and local storage through your browser settings, although some site or tool behavior may then be unavailable.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use public-tool inputs to infer sensitive characteristics about you.

4. When we share information

We may share information with:

We do not authorize service providers to use information for purposes unrelated to the services they provide to us, except where their own independent privacy terms apply to their processing.

5. Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including to provide a service, respond to a request, resolve disputes, meet legal or accounting requirements, and maintain security. Retention periods depend on the type of information and the context in which it was collected.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so do not send secrets through public forms or email.

6. International transfers

Vizup Commerce and the service providers we use may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. The privacy policies of Shopify, PostHog, Zoho, and any other provider explain their own processing and transfer practices.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction on, or portability of personal information, to object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.

To make a privacy request, email hello@vizupcommerce.com with the subject Privacy request. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the scope of the request before acting. Your legal rights and available exceptions vary by jurisdiction.

If you use a Vizup service through a Shopify merchant, you may need to direct a request about store or customer data to that merchant first. Shopify also provides information about privacy and merchant responsibilities in its privacy resources.

8. Children

The website and services are intended for adults and business users. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, data practices, or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised version on this page and update the effective date above. Your continued use of the website after an update means the revised policy applies from its effective date, subject to any notice or consent requirements imposed by law.
